GlenEagle Estates is a custom home community with a total of 104 home sites platted. The development is built upon 141 acres with 33% of the site dedicated to open natural space.  GlenEagle Estates is located in the city of Thornton, with the city providing water, sewer, and waste collection services. 

Children will be attending school in the Brighton School District 27J.  The schools they will be attending for the 2007 school year are:

The HOA owns, manages, and maintains all common facilities. HOA dues are $40.00/month.

The Adams County Regional Park lies on 625 acres, directly east of GlenEagle. Some of the amenities you will find include:

  • The Riverdale Golf courses: Riverdale Dunes, a Scottish links style course that has received national acclaim, and Riverdale Knolls a traditional American Park style course, both courses are public and have practice and dining facilities.
  • The Adams County Fairgrounds Complex, which hosts the Adams County Fair during the last week of July.
  • Numerous outdoor recreation areas; paved and unpaved walking/hiking/cycling trails, fishing ponds, canoe course, picnic areas and playground.
  • Concert and stage area.
  • The Adams County Historical Society Museum.
Home plans must be approved by the Architectural Control Committee. Minimum square footage is 2,700 square feet for a ranch style home and 3,000 square feet for a multi story home. A minimum of 3 garage spaces and a maximum of 6 garage spaces are allowed. Outbuildings are permitted with a minimum of 450 square feet and a maximum of 1,200 square feet. The setback requirement for outbuilding placement is 10’ behind the rear plane of the house, and the roof line shall not be higher than 25’.
  • Swimming pools and tennis courts are allowed and must be approved by the ACC during the design submittal process.
  • Landscape installation must begin within 120 days of occupancy or, in the case of occupancy during the winter months must begin within 180 days. Landscape plans must be submitted with all other plans submitted for final approval.
  • Horses and other livestock are not permitted at GlenEagle.
